People who want to improve their competences and skills in the field of computer operation are invited to participate in the project: „Digital Activity Center – Training in Information and Communication Technologies for Adults”.

The aim of the project is to raise or acquire key competences in Information and Communication Technologies for 200 people (110F, 90M), aged 25-64, with low professional qualifications, living in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship.

Project aimed at people:

• at the age of professional activity (from 25 years of age) – verified on the basis of the PESEL number,

• low professional qualifications (at most secondary education),

• from the areas of the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship,

• wanting to improve their computer skills.

Bonus points are awarded to people:

• over 50 – verified on the basis of the PESEL number,

• with a certificate of disability – verified on the basis of the Participant’s declaration of disability and the certificate valid as of the date of signing the Agreement (for inspection by the project coordinator).

Classes will be held in groups of 10, 2-4 times a week for approx. 5 teaching hours, in Poznań (or another city – depending on the meeting of the training group).

As part of the project, we offer the opportunity to undergo computer training in three areas of knowledge from the following:

  • Information (DCM1),
  • Communication (DCM2),
  • Content Creation (DCM3),
  • Security (DCM4),
  • Problem Solving (DCM5).

Organized training:

DCM1, DCM2, DCM3 – training at level A, lasting 60 lessons,

DCM2, DCM3, DCM4 – training at level A, lasting 60 lessons,

DCM1, DCM2, DCM4 – training at the A level, lasting 60 teaching hours,

DCM3, DCM4, DCM5 – level B training, lasting 90 teaching hours.

After completing the training, participants will take an external exam ending with the ECCC certificate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

1. What criteria do I have to meet to be eligible for the project?

To qualify for the project, the following criteria must be met:

• Age 25 – 64 years,

• Low professional qualifications: maximum secondary education,

• Place of residence: the territory of the Wielkopolskie voivodeship

• Status on the labor market: economically active, unemployed or inactive.

2. I am a disabled person, can I participate in the project?

Yes, the project is adapted to people with disabilities.

3. Do I have to be registered in the project implementation area?

No, the fact of living in the Wielkopolskie Voivodeship is taken into account.

4. How can I sign up for the project?

5. How long is the training?

The project assumes two levels of training A – basic level and B – intermediate level. Training at level A lasts 60 lessons, training at level B lasts 90 lessons.

6. What is a Self-Assessment Grid?

The self-assessment grid consists of five areas of digital competence and two levels of proficiency: level A (basic) and level B (intermediate). By meticulously filling in the self-assessment grid, the Participant is qualified to the appropriate training group, where he can improve his competences and skills in the areas that are most interesting to him and necessary for the development of his professional career.

7. What areas of knowledge can I improve my competences from?

As part of the project, we offer the opportunity to undergo computer training in three areas of knowledge from the following:

• Information (DCM1),

• Communication (DCM2),

• Content Creation (DCM3),

• Security (DCM4),

• Troubleshooting (DCM5).

Organized training:

DCM1, DCM2, DCM3 – training at level A,

DCM2, DCM3, DCM4 – training at level A,

DCM1, DCM2, DCM4 – training at level A,

DCM3, DCM4, DCM5 – training at level B.

8. Where are the trainings held?

The trainings will be held in Poznań or other place in Wielkopolskie voivodeship (on condition that there is a group of 10 people).

9. Is it possible to reimburse travel expenses for training?

Yes, there will be reimbursement of travel costs for trainings for people in special life situations (poor people, single parents, people with disabilities).

10. Is it possible to reimburse the cost of caring for a child or a dependent?

Yes, it is possible to apply for reimbursement of the costs of care for a dependent person for people in a special life situation (poor people, single parents, people with disabilities).

11. Are there any fees charged to the Participants?

No, participation in the training is completely free and Participants are not charged any fees.
